Dr. Nyanda Ntinginya

Dr. Nyanda is a Senior Research Scientist with a background as the Medical Doctor from the University of Dar es Salaam (Muhimbili College of Health Sciences) in 2006, holder of a Master Degree in Tropical and Infectious Diseases from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK (2011) with a PhD in Medical Research-International Health from the Centre for International Health at the University of Munich; Germany (2017). Dr Nyanda has more than 10 years of research experience in conducting TB (mainly), HIV and Emerging Diseases research at institutional and national levels in cross-functional and multicultural and international environment. He is a scientific reviewer and member of the editorial board of the Tanzania Journal of Health Research. Dr. Nyanda is participating in several national and international medical research networks and technical working groups including; One Health under the Tanzanian Prime Minister’s Office, National TB Operational Research Committee, Streamlining Health Research Ethics review process and Regulatory framework in Tanzania(SMERT), Executive Group Member of the Pan African Consortium For the Evaluation of the Anti-tuberculosis Antibiotic (PanACEA), Global Alliance for TB Drug Development, Global HIV Vaccine Network (HVTN),  TB Sequel  Network, The International Multidisciplinary Programme to Address Lung Health and TB in Africa (IMPALA), Holistic Approach to Unravel Antibacterial resistance in East Africa (HATUA)  and others.
